Same Day and Urgent Appointments

Please note we offer a Walk-in Clinic for registered patients, Monday to Friday. This service runs from 08:00-12:00 pm or until we reach the maximum number of patients.

If you need to speak to a doctor urgently, we have a Duty Doctor On-Call between 12.00 pm – 6:30 pm Monday to Friday. Please note this is for acute and urgent problems only.

Please also note during Walk-In and Duty Call Back clinicians will not be able to deal with:#

  • Requests for repeat medication
  • Requests for extension of medical certificates
  • Requests for re-referrals
  • Any medical reports or letters
  • Proof of attendance for school/work
  • Immunisations/travel vaccinations o
  • Smears

Out of Hours

Please note after 6:30 pm, on the weekend and bank holidays, if you need urgent help, you should access the out-of-hours services as usual by dialling 111 or going to 111 Online

For real life-threatening emergencies such as those below – RING 999

For immediate serious conditions such as the following

Examples:

  • Chest pain (suspected heart attack)
  • Suspected stroke
  • Suspected meningitis
  • Anaphylactic shock (severe allergy)
  • Heavy bleeding or deep lacerations
  • Fluctuating levels of consciousness or completely unconscious
  • Difficulty breathing or stopped breathing with a change in colour
  • New seizure, fit or uncontrollable shaking

For immediate serious conditions such as the following, GO TO the Emergency Department (A&E) IMMEDIATELY

  • A fever and lethargic (drowsy) child
  • A feverish and floppy (unresponsive) infant
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Sudden, severe abdominal pain
  • Accidental or intentional overdose of medication
  • Trauma (including falls) and possible broken bones or road traffic accident
